Special Program - Living Courageously, a New Church Journey Program
Living your Religion — Spiritual Growth with the New Church. Living Courageously is the New Church small groups program that ran in late 2009. This program was a coordinated small group activity for our congregation that was brought to you by the Bryn Athyn Church Journey Team.
Living Courageously explores the Elijah story of the Old Testament (l Kings 17-22, and II Kings 2), an ancient tale of heroism and adventure. Again and again, Elijah stands against evil when his downfall seems certain – and yet again and again, the Lord pulls him through and helps him re-establish the worship of Jehovah in Israel.
Until the next series starts up in October 2010, members and friends can follow along with this program or other New Church small group programs on their own via email.
Daily emails can be registered for online on the New Church website. They are available to anyone who wishes to access them.
