What do you love about the Bryn Athyn Community? What do you value about the Bryn Athyn Community? Do you have a story about Bryn Athyn, one that epitomizes what is possible when everything is right with Bryn Athyn? If you could duplicate some aspects of the Bryn Athyn Community, which would you duplicate? If you have answers for any of these questions, we invite you to be a part of the Appreciative Inquiry process in Bryn Athyn.
Appreciative Inquiry seeks community improvement by focusing attention on our successes and not our failures, seeking to build upon the successes. The Appreciative Inquiry Process began in the spring of 2011 with the formation of a 25 person “Design Team” tasked with looking at how Appreciative Inquiry could work for Bryn Athyn. The Design Team itself was drawn from a broad cross-section of the Greater Bryn Athyn Community.
The Design Team invites you to invest some of your time in your community to help it flourish. Everyone who has a connection to Bryn Athyn is invited and encouraged to participate. We want to be “radically inclusive” and don’t want to miss anyone who wants to be involved. We are confident you will come away from the experience feeling more energized and connected to the community.
