Annual Society Meeting April 26, 2013
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT At the Bryn Athyn Church’'s semi-annual meeting on April 26, Bryn Athyn Church members affirmed the nomination of Rev. Eric H. Carswell as the next Pastor of the Bryn Athyn Church. Board of Trustees voting resulted in the re-election of Sean Connolly, Wendy Cooper and Barbara Doering, and we are happy to welcome Dr. David Fuller to the Board. The evening included an entertaining and inspiring presentation about what students have to say about their New Church education, presented by Headmaster Dr. Reid Pritchett.

Rev. Jay Barry - New Glenview Society Pastor
Rev. Jay Barry has been called as the new Pastor of the Glenview Society. Jay is currently Bryn Athyn Cathedral Director and teaches 7th grade religion. Eric Carswell and I are setting the process in motion to find a suitable replacement for him. I'’m sure that you will join me in thinking that we will really miss Jay and Barbara in Bryn Athyn. I have very much appreciated the gifts that he brings to his work and the projects that he has been involved in at the Cathedral. Congratulations Jay and best wishes for your time in Glenview! ~ Rev. Location: Heilman Hall. Over the last few years we have been working very hard to make sure that lots of people were able to give input on what Bryn Athyn Church's priorities and focus should be. Pastoral Candidates Have Been Interviewed
The Pastor Selection Committee has created a list of candidates for the position of head pastor, and interviewed all candidates. We will meet in the next few days and take into consideration the information we have all received from so many of you, the interviews, the written material as well as the online material that all of our candidates have provided for us. We hope to propose a name to Bishop Keith before the next Post deadline.
