Informal Family Service
Sundays - 9:30am, Bryn Athyn Church Society Building (directions)
The Informal Service welcomes family members of all ages to worship together in a casual setting. A variety of musical groups, usually supported by guitar and keyboard, present music as people gather for worship. Participants will sing familiar folk songs, say the Lord's Prayer and hear a reading and message related to a story from the Old or New Testament given by a minister. The story may be dramatized or people may be invited to participate in an interactive process that will help apply the story to their life.
The service lasts about forty minutes and people are invited to stay and visit afterwards with light snacks provided.
