The Bryn Athyn Church Core Purpose: To help people throughout the world grow closer to the Lord God Jesus Christ in His Second Coming and so to lead them to heaven...

The Bryn Athyn Church, as a congregation of the New Church, carries out the core purpose of the General Church (legal name of the New Church) locally through programs that:

1. Inspire belief in New Church teachings
2. Promote the spiritual practices of reformation
3. Encourage service to others
4. Involve people on leadership and evangelization opportunities

Our Strategic Plan has two (2) essential goals:

1. Open appropriate gateways to the church and community
2. Strengthen the connections within the community and with our mission.

These have resulted in a number of initiatives to locally implement the General Church strategic plan, and to support the Academy of the New Church strategic plan. We want to promote the health and growth of the community, and by improving ways to connect with our members, students and newcomers, to encourage them to be active in their spiritual life.
